About Us
Emerald Isle Run Club started in 2016 with just a few people coming together to do what they love. Little did they know that it would grow into the thriving Running Club it is today. Our dedicated team members enjoy meeting often for different events and activities. Passion and enthusiasm go hand-in-hand with everything we do.
Our door is always open to new members, no matter their experience level. We are proud to bring together people from all over Emerald Isle, Carteret County and beyond. Come join us at our next event — we’d love to share all that Emerald Isle Run Club is with you!

We’ve compiled a list of all the frequently asked questions we get regarding Emerald Isle Run Club, and how it works. If you still need a question answered, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to help you out.
EIRC welcomes all paces, all ages. Our club is kid friendly and (leashed) dog friendly. Whether you are walking, running or anything in between- you are keeping up. You control the pace.
There is no fee to be a member of EIRC. Occasionally EIRC members will choose to participate in area events that require entry fees which the participant will need to cover. We have had EIRC apparel for sale in the past, and will be available again in the near future-which would be an optional purchase for members.
6 PM Mondays at Emerald Isle Growler.
6 PM Wednesdays at Emerald Club.
We LOVE our youngest EIRC members! Kids are absolutely welcomed! We have children from infant age in baby joggers to kiddos who participate along side their “adults” by running, skating, biking and scootering!

About Us
A Group with a Common Passion
Emerald Isle Run Club is all about having a good time and embracing health and wellness through running, walking, and jogging. We believe that by coming together, we can achieve personal growth and success. Teamwork, motivation, support, and inspiration are the qualities that push our community forward. This is a free club, all you have to do is show up! We look forward to having you part of the EIRC Family!
Meetups
At our Monday & Wednesday Night Run Club, you'll get to know fellow EIRC members. From walkers to runners, you move at your own pace. The club run starts promptly at 6:00 PM, you you are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early to stretch and get warmed up. The club will venture 15 minutes “out”, turn and travel 15 minutes “back” to EI Growler/Emerald Club. Once we conclude our 30 minute run, we will snap a group photo and invite you to hang around for some ice cold beverages. Juice boxes for the kids, water bowls for the pups, various alcoholic and non-alcoholic options are available for purchase.
Parking is available at EI Growler. Overflow parking across the roundabout at Publix. Pups are welcome, but must be leashed in compliance with EI town ordinance. Get ready to reach personal records and meet goals while hanging out with some of the coolest crew around!
